Join us in bringing hope to the children of Gaza with GRIT
At Cultura Connector, we believe in the power of transformative play to support healing and resilience. That’s why we are helping bring GRIT — Games for Resilience and Interactive Transformation to children in Gaza, using live-action role-playing (LARP) as a therapeutic tool to help them process trauma, regain confidence, and reclaim their sense of self.
Children in Gaza are growing up in fear, grief, and unimaginable loss. Over 80% show severe emotional distress, with many experiencing depression, anxiety, and thoughts of self-harm (Save the Children). Without urgent intervention, the effects of war will shape their futures.
GRIT offers a new way to heal. Unlike traditional therapy, role-playing therapy engages children through storytelling and play, making emotional recovery more natural and effective. Therapists using this approach are seeing remarkable breakthroughs in record time, achieving in weeks what traditional therapy might take years to accomplish.
